Vostan restaurant opened its doors at 8 Abovyan Street on May 20, 2017. The main focus should be on the restaurant building, which is one of the most beautiful buildings in Yerevan, built by architect Vasili Mirzoyan in 1884. The building stood empty for a long time, with no hope of restoration. The oldest and most beautiful part of the building is the door of the building, next to which neither tourists nor locals pass by indifferently. The building has been renovated while maintaining its architectural solutions, such as: staircase, floor mosaic, beautiful windows and other old elements.
The large yard at the back of the building has become a beautiful place in the center of the city, which has apricot trees, tonir, renovated old Armenian balconies and benches, where you can spend very pleasant evenings in summer. After the renovation, the building came to life and remains a cultural heritage of the city of Yerevan. Small Pregomesh store at the entrance welcomes elegant Armenian historical jewelry to the evaluators. In the lobby of the restaurant, visitors can also buy canned food produced by Vostan. The restaurant also offers freshly baked Armenian bread and lavash. The baking process can be seen on the second floor of the restaurant, behind the transparent windows.
